The Mahindra Thar is offered in three i.e. Mahindra Thar DI 4X2 BS3 Mahindra Thar DI 4X4 BS3 and Mahindra Thar CRDe 4X4.
Mahindra Thar CRDe is powered by a 2.5 litre engine that produces 103.5 bhp power at peak and 247Nm maximum torque at very low RPM (1800-2000 rpm). The Mahindra Thar off-roader comprises bits and pieces of Scorpio and Bolero. The Drive by wire technology featured in the Thar aids in quicker and controlled throttle response and the LSPV brakes helps in preventing wheel lock up and loss of control.
